Westrian Group, Inc. is the parent company of JR Engineering, LLC is proud to announce new shareholders!

The company has invited the following employees to be Principals of the Firm.  They will be maintaining their current position within the company:

 

Eric Lee, PE, currently the Transportation Group Lead for the Public Works Team in Centennial. 

Jarrod Adams, PLS currently the Land Survey Group Lead for all JR offices.

Eli Farney, PE, currently a Client Manager for the Public Works team.

Kevin Rohrbough, PE, currently the Land Development Department Lead for the Centennial office

Eric Lee, PE joined JR Engineering’s Centennial office in 2017. With an undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University, Lee’s focus has been in the design and construction of public roadways and utilities, intersections, traffic signals, and trails. Lee is presently a Group Lead in JR’s Centennial office, utilizing over 16 years of professional experience between the private and public sectors, including several years working at the Colorado DOT.  His recent projects include district engineering for Reunion in Commerce City, Bridge Street Widening in Brighton, the O Street and 59th Avenue roundabout in Greeley, and the Berkeley Gardens Neighborhood project in Adams County, along with various other local municipal projects across Colorado. He also spearheaded the formation of the SUE department at JR Engineering in 2023. He looks forward to growing the public sector at JR Engineering, with the ultimate goal of making it one of the top municipal firms in the state.

Jarrod Adams, PLS joined JR Engineering’s Survey Team in 2006. With a BS in Geomatics Engineering from THE Ohio State University, (Go Bucks!) Jarrod’s focus has been cadastral land surveying with an emphasis on control networks and GNSS surveying systems. Presently the Group Lead for JR’s Land Survey operations, Jarrod oversees an awesome group of dedicated surveyors, and utilizes his close to two decades of professional experience to ensure efficient, high-quality surveying and mapping on all JR projects. JR is the best place to work because of the staff and Jarrod has had the pleasure of working with many amazing and talented people who have assisted in his personal and professional growth over the last 17 years. (Thank you!). He looks forward to continuing this legacy of investing in the staff and helping in the growth of future company and industry leaders.

Eli Farney, PE, PTOE, joined JR Engineering’s Centennial office in 2001.  Holding an undergraduate degree from Colorado State University at Pueblo, Farney has dedicated his career to marketing public works projects and managing transportation projects.  Over the past decade, he has played a pivotal role in expanding JR Engineering’s traffic engineering and transportation planning services.  Currently serving as a Client Manager in JR’s Centennial office, Farney leverages his extensive two-decade experience in public works.  His impressive resume includes managing over 100 traffic impact studies, overseeing more than 50 traffic signals, leading projects such as the Washington Street widening in Thornton and the Zone 3 transmission waterline in Erie, and serving as Traffic Engineer for the Town of Severance.  He eagerly anticipates further contributing to the growth of public works across the mountainous region of the US

Kevin J. Rohrbough, PE joined JR Engineering’s Centennial office in 2023. With an undergraduate degree from University of Nevada, Kevin’s focus has been in the design and construction of residential Master Planned Communities throughout the Front Range. Kevin is presently the Land Development Department Lead in JR’s Centennial office, utilizing nearly 20 years of professional experience across land development with an emphasis on building great communities throughout the Front Range.  His recent projects include Reunion in Commerce City, Welty Ridge in Johnstown, the Canyons in Castle Pines, Pena Station in Denver , and RidgeGate in Lone Tree with various other commercial and residential projects up and down the Front Range. He looks forward to continuing to place an emphasis on JR’s most valuable asset, its outstanding staff!

JR Engineering Celebrates 50 Years of Pioneering Engineering Solutions

Centennial, CO – JR Engineering, a leading Colorado engineering and surveying firm, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023. Five decades of providing innovative solutions to its clients began with the firm’s founding in 1973 by Jim Fraker and Roger Guertner. Working with two other staff members, they focused on providing high-quality, cost-effective services to what even then was a fast-growing Colorado.
